Springfield, IL

We spent half our day in Springfield, IL and went to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum where we learned about Lincoln's life throughout his childhood to his presidency. There is this really cool show they have about ghosts in the Presidential Library, so if you ever visit this museum, I definitely recommend the ghost show!

The whole gang :)

The whole group with Abe and his family.

CHICAGO!

After driving for a few more hours, we finally made it to Chicago!! We quickly settled down in our hostel and headed out to Chinatown. We figured out the subway with the help from Google Maps and a local. We got to Chinatown and ate a delicious dinner and had a little ice cream after.

All the kids (minus our trip advisor Darren)

Some of our food..it was delicious!

Ice cream...yummmm

All in all, it was a tiring day of traveling, but also fun with the museum and Chinatown.

Tune in tomorrow to hear about our first day of service!
